Our visit to Cambridge was fun and scary. In the car on the way there and back we listened to a This American Life episode called "Another Frightening Show About the Economy". That was the scary part. Credit default swaps are no joke. We had some really good flatbread pizza at Cambride 1 followed by a pot of spicy hot chocolate at Tealuxe. We got to see Vinny's lab, office and the lecture hall he teaches in. All that and Al Gore. He happened to be giving a speech for the "Green is the New Crimson" campaign. Vinny came back to Providence with us where a hot Sri Lankan meal made by my mom and her patient and eager assistant, Asha, awaited.
