Esalen!

I drove up to Esalen yesterday in beautiful Big Sur with my good friend, Jerry. We're up here taking a CranioSacral class. We decided to take this class back in May when we graduated from massage school. I have wanted to come to Esalen ever since I first found out about it maybe eight years ago. Big Sur is one of my favorite places on the planet. So far, my experience at Esalen is exceeding expectations. The natural hot spring baths are amazing, the setting is gorgeous and the weather is perfect! It's warm, sunny and clear. As an added bonus, the moon will be full tomorrow. I couldn't ask for anything more. All meals are included and a lot of the food they serve is grown on the farm here. There are free classes (yoga, meditation, tai chi, dance) throughout the day. Jerry and I have Esalen massages scheduled for Wednesday evening. Here are some photos from the drive up and a cat!
