Yesterday, we were in Mainz, the home of Guttenberg (printing press, bibles). We had kind of a wacky tour guide. The thing I'll remember about Mainz is the Marc Chagall windows at the St. Stephens cathedral that I didn't see. After Mainz, we sailed for like a minute down the Rhine and stopped at Rüdesheim for the night. Ranjana and I ended up going out with some of the crew and we didn't get back to the ship until almost 4am. We set sail this morning around 7am and the announcements about castles we were passing started shortly thereafter. It's been a bit of a rough day.
