Day 4 - Passau

Day 4 on the cruise took us to Passau. I'm back in Germany. Passau is a city of 50,000. About 9,000 of those are university students. Therefore, Passau has the most number of pubs per head in all of Germany. The cathedral there also has the 2nd largest pipe organ in the world and the largest in Europe. Again with the mixing of the old and the new, they put a new organ in an old church. They put pipes up in the front, on the sides and even in the ceiling wiring them all to one console. It's got 5.1 surround sound! There are over 17,000 pipes in total. We attended an organ concert at noon. They didn't crank it up loud enough.
