Veggie Currywurst

Currywurst (sausage in a tomato based “curry” sauce”) is a Berlin specialty that I wanted to sample. As a vegetarian, this was not an easy task. When our dinner plans fell through for Sunday night (the restaurant we chose was mysteriously closed), we went on a quest for veggie currywurst.
I had done some research online and we ended up at a place called Frittiersalon. They had currywurst made from organic sausage for HP and tofu for me. The frittes were delicious.
They have about 8 different dipping sauces to choose from. The currywurst wasn’t really anything to write home about, and yet here I am.
